Bet Large and Gain Small playing Craps

If you choose to use this approach you want to have a sizable amount of money and superior discipline to leave when you earn a tiny success. For the benefit of this story, a sample buy in of $2,000 is used.

The Horn Bet numbers are certainly not looked at as the "winning way to wager" and the horn bet itself carries a house advantage of over twelve percent.

All you are playing is $5 on the pass line and ONE number from the horn. It doesn’t matter whether it is a "craps" or "yo" as long as you bet it constantly. The Yo is more common with gamblers using this system for obvious reasons.

Buy in for $2,000 when you sit down at the table however only put $5.00 on the passline and $1 on either the two, 3, 11, or twelve. If it wins, awesome, if it does not win press to $2. If it loses again, press to four dollars and then to $8, then to sixteen dollars and after that add a $1.00 every time. Each time you don’t win, bet the last value plus an additional dollar.

Using this system, if for example after 15 rolls, the number you bet on (11) has not been tosses, you surely should walk away. Although, this is what possibly could happen.

On the 10th roll, you have a total of $126 in the game and the YO finally hits, you come away with $315 with a profit of $189. Now is an excellent time to walk away as it is a lot more than what you joined the table with.

If the YO doesn’t hit until the twentieth roll, you will have a complete bet of $391 and seeing as current bet is at $31, you earn $465 with your profit of $74.

As you can see, adopting this scheme with only a one dollar "press," your take becomes smaller the longer you play on without succeeding. That is why you should step away after a win or you should bet a "full press" again and then continue on with the $1.00 mark up with each hand.

Crunch some numbers at home before you attempt this so you are very adept at when this approach becomes a non-winning adventure instead of a winning one.
